Rosalia Mary (Kistler) Osterhage
KALIDA -- Rosalia Mary (Kistler) Osterhage, 90, of Kalida went home to be with her Husband, Eugene, who she dearly missed for 25 years at 3:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Meadows of Kalida, She was born December 13, 1927 in Ottawa to the late Linus and Agnes (Brown) Kistler. On June 18, 1949 she married Eugene Raymond Osterhage who preceded her in death on September 25, 1993.
She is survived by 7 children: Karen (Mike) Sarka of Cloverdale, Raymond (Clara) Osterhage of Centerville, Barbara (Randy) Unverferth, Steven (Karen) Osterhage, Shirley (Dennis) Bruskotter, and Carl (Rhonda) Osterhage, all of Kalida; and Larry (Julie) Osterhage of Waynesville; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way; 2 brothers: Harold Kistler and Charles (Nancy) Kistler; a sister: Mary Ann Langhals; and 2 sisters-in-law: Betty Kistler and Philomena Kistler
Rosalia was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Joseph (Rose Arlene) Kistler, Francis Kistler, Raymond Kistler and Father Leonard Kistler; and a sister-in-law: Janet Kistler.
Rosalia was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida and its Altar Rosary Society. She was a cook for Kalida Elementary for 21 years. She volunteered at St. Rita's Medical Center. She enjoyed her ladies club group and loved spending time with her family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township.
