Rose Mary Crosby

   LEIPSIC - Rosemary Crosby, 100, of Leipsic died at 6:04 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. She was born January 17, 1918 in Deshler to the late Fred and Edna (House) Gribbell. On June 22, 1941 she married Charles E. "Jack" Crosby who died June 16, 2005.

   She is survived by two children: Diane Mueller of Brunswick, GA and Ronald (Pamela) Crosby of Carlisle; three grandchildren: Brett L. Mueller of Bedford, IN, Heather Crosby of Middletown, and Aaron (Nicole) Crosby of Dayton, KY; two step-grandchildren: Bill Mueller, Jr. and Barbara Mueller Spitnale; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Gribbell of North Port, FL.

   Rosemary was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, William E. Mueller; two brothers: Marsden Gribbell and Justin J. Gribbell; and a sister-in-law, Helen Gribbell.

   Rosemary was retired from Libby, McNeill, and Libby in Leipsic and had worked as a teller for Corn City Bank in Deshler.  She was a lifetime Methodist beginning at Deshler Methodist Church and then belonging to Leipsic United Methodist Church as its longest standing member.  Rosemary was a 1935 graduate of Deshler High School and a former member of the Informal Study Club Literary Group of Leipsic.

  Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Leipsic United Methodist Church with Pastor Laurie Beaty officiating.  Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic.  Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.

  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
