'Soupy' -- John and I will miss you so much!! It was so enjoyable watching you play ball, listen to your jokes and humor....you would never hurt a fly...such a great guy...you had a great smile!! Sincere sympathy to all the Family and Friends. Below is a poem from one of my favorite authors -- Helen Steiner Rice:
LOOK ON THE SUNNY SIDE
There are always two sides, the Good and the Bad,
The Dark and the Light, the Sad and the Glad --
But in looking back over the Good and the Bad
We're aware of the number
of Good Things we've had --
And in counting our blessings
we find when we're through
We've no reason at all to complain or be blue --
So thank God for Good things He has already done,
And be grateful to Him for the battles you've won,
And know that the same God who helped you before
Is ready and willing to help you once more --
Then with faith in your heart
reach out for God's Hand
And accept what He sends,
though you can't understand --
For Our Father in Heaven always knows what is best,
And if you trust in His wisdom your life will be blest,
For always remember that whatever betide you,
You are NEVER alone
for God is beside you.
Love, John and Catherine Fortman and Family :)

In Loving Memory of Soup- the great guy who coached our "grown-up " after college, girls softball team for Romies Corner... a few years back. Always smiling, always respectful and so kind. Time disappears, but we always remember those times of our carefree youth, and Soupy was there alongside us having as much fun as we were. Rest in peace friend, your smile and sense of humor will always be with us. Sincere sympathy to all of you, his family.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Campbell family. Steve always made me laugh with his many stories. He was a sweet and gentle man who left this earth too soon.

So sorry to see this about Steve. I had no idea he was ill. What I will always remember about Steve was the great times we had spending every fall going over to Massillon for the Football finals together with Mike. We did this for over 15 years. Great times - great friendships & memories were made every year. I specifically recall Mike getting us an "honorary" Escort back to the hotel - which Steve wasn't aware of - but in his great sense of humor enjoyed it AFTER we made it back ! MY condolences to the family and extended family for Steve and the great memories he gave us all.
