Tina Marie Herr

   OAKWOOD – Tina Marie Herr, 56, of Oakwood passed away with her family by her side at 9:57 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice. Tina courageously battled cancer for 10 years.  She was born July 20, 1962 in Lima to Clayton and Alice (Schulte) Britsch. Her father is deceased and her mother survives in Leipsic. She and her husband, Robert “Bob” Herr have spent a blissful 23 years together and he resides  in Oakwood.

   Also surviving are four children, Brock (Ashley) Foor of Oakwood, Karissa (Kenny) Boyd of Antwerp, Lance (Emilie) Foor of Payne, and Clay Herr of Oakwood; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Tim (Terri) Britsch of Dupont, Dan (Ginny) Britsch of Columbus Grove, and Tony Britsch of Continental; three sisters, Linda (Randy) Coble of Continental, Betty (Ken) Kosch of Kalida, and Barb (Doug) Verhoff of Kalida; her father and mother-in-law, Tom and Sharon Herr of Oakwood; brothers and sisters in-law, Randy (Annette) Herr of Continental and Ryan (Jennifer) Herr of Grover Hill. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Christopher and Michael Britsch and a nephew, Pat Britsch.

   Tina worked at Braun Industries in Van Wert. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Tina will be greatly missed by all including her beloved dog, Ozzy.

   A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Pastor Greg Cramer officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
