  OTTAWA – Tyler Duane Schroeder, 35, of Ottawa, died 8:59 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2018 after a motor vehicle accident.  He was born May 3, 1983, in Findlay to David “Guido” and Sue (Ebbesmier) Schroeder and they survive in Leipsic.  On October 1, 2016, he married Jennifer Guevara and she survives in Ottawa.

  Other survivors include two children: Bentley James Schroeder and Harper Rose Schroeder, both at home; a sister, Whitney (Kevin) Niese of Leipsic; mother-in-law, Linda Guevara of Leipsic; father-in-law, Roy Guevara; maternal grandparents: Shorty (Marnie) Ebbesmier of Ottawa; grandfather-in-law, Lambert Rodriguez of Leipsic; and sister-in-law, Lindsay (Colin) Rue of Leipsic.

  He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Jack (Luella) Schroeder; paternal uncle, Michael Schroeder; grandmother-in-law, Theresa Rodriguez.

  Tyler was a transition specialist with Clearwater Council of Governments.  He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, Leipsic Eagles and helped coach many of his son’s sports teams.  He was a 2002 graduate of Leipsic High School, and a 2006 graduate of Bluffton University earning his Bachelor Degree in Wellness and Medicine.  Tyler was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Cavaliers, Brown and Indian’s fan.  His hobbies included playing golf, golf and more golf.  Tyler loved his children and family very much.  He had the biggest heart and touched many people’s lives, he will be greatly missed.

  A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10.30 a.m., Friday, July 27, 2018 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leipsic.  Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, and 3-9 p.m. Thursday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME LEIPSIC.  A scripture service will begin at 5:45 Wednesday at the funeral home.
