Walter "Butch" Fischer

   DELPHOS - Walter "Butch" Fischer, 71, of Delphos died at 9:50 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Lima Manor, Lima. He was born November 16, 1947 in Lima to the late Arnold and Helen (Turnwald) Fischer.

   He is survived by two children, Jeff Fischer of Waverly and Jennifer Titus of Ottawa; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Also preceding him in death was his son-in-law, Brian Titus; brother, Leroy Fischer; and a sister, Pat Halker.

   Butch worked at General Motors in Defiance. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of Lima Community Church, UAW, and the Ottawa VFW.

   Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township with Pastor Terry Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Ft. Jennings with military rites by the Ottawa VFW. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
