William J. "Bill" Ruhe

  OTTAWA - William J. "Bill" Ruhe, 78, of Ottawa, died 3:10 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his residence.  He was born July 11, 1940 in Lima to the late William H. and Clara (Feltman) Ruhe.  On July 18, 1970, he married Joyce Kuhbander.  She died September 11, 1991.

  Survivors include two daughters: Chris (Ronald) Kahle, Jr. and Cindy (Rob) Davis both of Ottawa; two grandchildren: Tyler Ruhe-Kahle and Addicyn Davis; a brother, Kenneth (Karen) Ruhe of Ottawa and a sister, Diane (Gary) Compton of Lima.

  Bill owned Bill Ruhe Gas and Oil.  He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf and Ottawa and Leipsic Eagles. 

  A Mass of Christian burial will begin 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the church.  A scripture service will begin at 1:45 p.m., on Tuesday at the funeral home.

  Memorial donations may be made to the Glandorf and Kalida parks.
