Alan L. Brenneman

  DUPONT - Alan L. Brenneman, 69 of Dupont died 1:19 a.m., Sunday, August 9, 2020 at OSU Medical Center, Columbus.  He was born February 2, 1951 in Lima to the late Donald and Claribel (Lehman) Brenneman.  On April 29, 1977 he married Lisa Wagner and she survives in Dupont.

  Other survivors include six children: Joseph Brenneman of Dupont, Danial Brenneman of Columbus Grove, Annamarie (Kenneth) Diltz of Cloverdale, Amy (Kenneth) Saunders IV of Lima, Christopher Brenneman of Dupont and Emily Brenneman of Van Wert; two grandchildren: Derek Diltz and Leah Diltz; two brothers: Karl (Kazuyo) Brenneman of Peru, IN and Dale Brenneman of Thompson, GA; two sisters: Carolyn Evans ; and Diana (Dave) McCullough both of Oakwood; and several nieces and nephews.

  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Mike Brenneman.

  Alan was a US Army Veteran and a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church, Cloverdale. 

  A funeral mass will begin at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 15, 2020 at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Cloverdale with the Very Reverend Jerome Schetter officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Barbara Cemetery, Cloverdale with military rites by the Continental American Legion.

  Memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Celiac Disease Foundation.
