Barbara A. Settlemire

  LEIPSIC – Barbara A. Settlemire, 58, of Leipsic, passed away at 2:02 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at her residence. She was born November 16, 1964 in Bowling Green to the late Robert A. and Lucille I. (Shenk) Busdiecker.  On October 3, 1992, she married Kevin Settlemire, who survives in Leipsic.

  Barbara is also survived by three children: Nick (Kayla) Settlemire, Cody Settlemire and AJ Settlemire, all of Leipsic; two grandsons: Xavier and Isaac Settlemire; and three brothers: Kurt Busdiecker of Toledo, Tim Busdiecker of Woodville and Jim Busdiecker of Gibsonburg.

  Barbara worked for KMI, Kalida for 25 years. She was a member of the Leipsic VFW Auxiliary and Findlay American Legion Auxiliary.  Barbara loved spending time with her beloved dog, Grizzly as well as her friends and family, especially her grandsons.

  Funeral services for Barbara will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Laurie Beaty officiating. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 p.m. on Monday and 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
