Billie L. Tracy

  CONTINENTAL – Billie L. Tracy, 89, of Continental died 5:10 p.m., Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Paulding Hospital.  He was born May 16, 1932 in Monroe Twp., to the late Donald and Pauline (Shafer) Tracy.  On September 27, 1952, he married L. Faye Adams and she survives in Continental.

  Other survivors include five children: Tim (Jill) Tracy of Defiance, Kim (Konni) Tracy of Defiance, Tom Tracy of Texas, Ted (Timberly) Tracy of Evansport and Tony (Buff) Tracy of Continental; a son-in-law, Tim Connin of Continental; 15 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

  He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Angie Connin; a brother, Ed Tracy and a sister, Elaine Beegle.

  Billie retired from the former Zellers Corporation and was also a lifelong farmer.  He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War.  Billie was a member of Family Christian Center, Defiance, Ottawa VFW and Oakwood American Legion.

  A memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Family Christian Center in Defiance with Pastor Andy Tracy officiating.  Burial will be at a later date in Monroe Cemetery, Continental.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
