Brenton E. Niese
LEIPSIC – Brenton E. “Beanie Jr.” Niese, 50 of Toledo, formerly of Leipsic died 3:23 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2023 at University of Toledo Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 8, 1972 in Lima to the late Eugene “Beanie” and Patricia (Gerschutz) Niese.
Survivors include three siblings: Dawn (Michael) Plakus of Greensboro, NC, Bradley (Amber) Niese and Yvonne (Randy) Cusac both of Ottawa; stepmother, Patricia Friese Niese of Leipsic; and nieces and nephews: Savanna, Autumn and Liberty Niese, Jayden, Alec and Patricia Cusac; and a stepsister, Jamie (John) Kenley of Springfield; and step niece and nephew: Shelby Kenley and Dalton Kenley.
Brenton was a graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School and attended the Northwestern Auto Diesel program in Lima. He was a mechanic by trade and enjoyed fishing, hunting, 80’s/90’s hard rock, the Cleveland Browns, farming, Harley Davidson and spending time with his family. Brenton was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic, and former member of the Ottawa Knights of Columbus, NRA and Leipsic Fish and Hunting Club. He also loved telling jokes and stories to all.
Funeral mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Randy Giesige and Deacon Niese officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m., Monday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with a 7:00 p.m. rosary by the Holy Name Society and one hour prior to the mass Tuesday at the St. Mary’s Parish Life Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be given to Pathways Counseling Center, Ottawa or Julia Browlee of Toledo (Brent’s group home operator).
