Cindy R Adams

OAKWOOD - Cindy R. Adams, 58, of Oakwood died at 9:24 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

   She was born January 26, 1960 in Defiance.  Her father and stepmother, Ray and Joan Pier survive in Antwerp, and her mother and stepfather, Mary (Gebers) and Jim Buckley survive in Eldorado, Ohio.  On October 27, 1978 she married John Adams who survives in Oakwood.

   Survivors also include 3 children, Jamie Adams (Mike Dotson) of Oakwood, Ashley Adams of New Haven, IN, and Breck (Luke) Rittenhouse of Ottawa; 8 grandchildren; and 6 siblings, Scott (Stephanie) Pier of Liberty Center, Steve (Amanda) Pier of Bend, OR, Spence Pier of Harlan, IN, Jason Buckley of New Paris, Jennifer (Fred) Langham of Antwerp, and Christy Buckley of Texas.

   She was preceded in death by a son, Eric Adams, a granddaughter, Alexis Adams, and a sister, Lesa Buckley.

   Cindy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who lived for her grandchildren.

   Funeral Services will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Oakwood with Pastor Tim Tracy officiating.  Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service.

   Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
