KALIDA – Courtney Ehrnsberger, 28, of Kalida died 3:47 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2021 at her residence. She was born January 15, 1993 in Lima to Kathy (Wagner) and Glenn Kimmel. Her mother survives in Kalida and her father survives in Findlay. On April 16, 2016 she married Chad Ehrnsberger, who survives in Kalida.
Also surviving are 3 sons: Connor, Carter and Caden Ehrnsberger, all at home; 4 sisters: Heidi (John) Walsh of South Whitley, IN, Heather (Gary) Horstman of Kalida, Bethany Kimmel of Kalida and Angelea Kimmel of Cloverdale; a brother: Ryan Kimmel of Cloverdale; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law: Gary and Kathy Ehrnsberger of Kalida; 2 sisters-in-law: Sondra Orzechowski of Westerville and Cherie (Larry) Kemper of Ottoville; Nieces and Nephews: Michael, Katie and Max Horstman, Noah and Sophia Titus, Kayla, Morgan, Lauren and Amanda Orzechowski and Dylan and Rachel Kemper; and many aunts, uncles and cousins and extended family.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers-in-law: Andrew Orzechowski and Dean Lott.
Courtney was a service representative at Paychex, Lima and was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Kalida. She loved going to Ohio State football games and loved to follow Kalida Baseball.
If you knew Courtney at all, you loved her. She had an infectious personality and would do anything for anyone. She wanted to spread love and put a smile on everyone’s face.
Breast cancer awareness was very important to Courtney and she was a member of several Facebook groups devoted to breast cancer survivors. There, she friended women all over the country, mentoring and encouraging them through all types of cancer, but especially breast cancer.
Courtney enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family, but her favorite people were her boys, Connor, Carter, Caden and Chad. They brought her so much joy and laughter. She will most certainly be their Guardian Angel shining light upon them from above.
The funeral mass for Courtney will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2021 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Kalida with Father Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township where a scripture service will be held 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
