OTTAWA – Daniel Wayne Schoepfle, 58 of Ottawa died 8:37 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
He was born August 29, 1963 in Lima to Max Eugene and Ruth Mae (Salsburey) Schoepfle. His mother survives and his father is deceased. In 1982 he married Jamie Tousley, who survives in Ottawa.
Survivors also include his children: Chad (Kayla) Tousley of Ottawa, Andrew (Danelle) Schoepfle of Columbus Grove, and Emily (Tom) Ealey of Ottawa; 11 grandchildren with one on the way; and two sisters: Paula Altstaetter of Lima and Darlene (Ken) Teders of Gilboa. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Tiffany Schoepfle.
Daniel worked for the former Philips, Ottawa and then for Sherwin Williams, Deshler. He attended the Missionary Church, Ottawa. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Michigan Wolverines fan. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, listening to 80’s rock music, hard-working, outgoing, funny, and a caring person.
Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Missionary Church, Ottawa with Rev. Marshall Metzger officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements being handled by LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
