Debra A. Schmiedebusch
OTTAWA - Debra A. Schmiedebusch, 63, of Ottawa died 3:55 a.m. Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born February 4, 1955 in Lima to the late William and Geneva W. (Kitchen) Reed. On July 15, 2000, she married Mark Schmiedebusch and he survives in Ottawa. Also surviving are 2 daughters: Shari (Gale) Wiseman of Findlay, Sarah (Adam) Klausing of Ottawa; 3 grandchildren: Brandon Schmersal, Ayden Klausing and Harper Klausing; 2 step-grandchildren: Cody Wiseman and Zack Smith; a sister: Sharon (Bob) Butler of Ottawa and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death also by a brother: William Reed, Jr. and 2 sisters: Janet Mangas and Connie Fackler.
Deb currently worked at the Union Bank in Kalida and had over 30 years of service in banking. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa; Ottawa Eagles Auxiliary and Ottawa Senior Citizens. She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling and camping with Mark and visiting with her friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where a scripture service will be held at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday.
