Dennis C. Morris

   DESHLER -  Dennis C. Morris, 66, of Deshler died at 9:22 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Henry County Hospital in Napoleon. He was born February 2, 1952 in Bluffton to the late Charles and Mary (Ritter) Morris. On March 17, 2001 he married Donna Walther who survives in Deshler.

   Also surviving are four children, Mike (Christina) Morris of Deshler, Jennifer (Jeff) Metzger of Wayne, Elizabeth (Brandon) Nimmo of Van Wert, and Rebecca Morris of Ft. Wayne, IN; three step children, Jennifer Patton and Jacqueline Durbin both of Deshler, and JeriLe (Carl) Jensen of Greenville, SC; nine grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Barbara Tietje  and Deb (Dean) Volkman both of Deshler and Sue (Robert) Spallinger of Bluffton.

   Dennis was retired from Automatic Feed in Napoleon and was a lifelong farmer. He was also the manager at Grand Avenue Treasures in Lima.  He was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and attended Ohio State University for 2 years. Dennis was a member of Zion Church of God in Hamler, and the Lima Moose. He was a volunteer EMT in Hamler.

   Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Rev. Jerry Cooke officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
