Donna J. (Combs) Lause

   LEIPSIC – Donna J. Lause, 73 of Leipsic died 10:31 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf. 

   She was born January 8, 1947 in Leipsic to the late Merl and Gertrude (Gebhardt) Combs.  On October 30, 1965, she married Donald B. Lause who died December 20, 2001.

   Survivors include 2 children, Barb (Harry) Durain and Don (Angela) Lause, both of Leipsic; 5 grandchildren, Amanda, Lee  Anna, and Donald  (Miranda DelaRosa) Durain, and Aidon and Eian Lause; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard “Dick” Combs of Virginia; and a sister, Clara (Charles) Pugh of Pandora.  She was preceded in death by 7 brothers, Edward, Gearold, Leonard, William, Terry, Ervin, and James Combs; and 4 sisters, Betty Agner, Elene Combs, Madline Combs, and Charlene Combs.

   Donna was a retired housekeeper from Autumn Court Nursing Home.  She was a member of Miller City Sportsman Club, an avid fisherman, and loved her family, friends, and pets.

   Funeral Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Jerry Meyer officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home, following restrictions according to COVID 19.  Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, Leipsic.
