Elizabeth Baldwin

 OTTAWA - Elizabeth Baldwin, 95, of Ottawa, died 6:36 a.m. November 11, 2020 at the Meadows of Kalida.  She was born June 25, 1925 in Evanston, Illinois to the late Joseph and Lucile (Richards) Hathaway.  On June 4, 1948 she married Charles E. Baldwin, he preceded her in death March 11, 1995. 

  Elizabeth is survived by her children: Nancy (Gene) Ruhe of Ottawa, Jayne Wingo of Fremont, Sally (Gary) Gerber of Belmont, MI and Kathy (Greg) Pysh of Midland, TX; eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

  She is preceded in death by a brother: John Hathaway; and a sister: Mary Echols.

  Elizabeth was of Presbyterian faith.  She was a graduate of the University of Michigan and then the University of St. Francis, Ft. Wayne with a master's degree.  Elizabeth was a Principal at Lincolnview Langley School, Van Wert.  She was a volunteer of the American Red Cross, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Putnam Pet Pals.

  Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
