Frank L. Kuhlman
OTTAWA – Frank L. Kuhlman, 83, of Ottawa, died at 4:55 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Meadows of Ottawa. He was born March 26, 1938 in New Cleveland to the late Ralph and Julitta (Nuveman) Kuhlman. On October 10, 1986 he married Joann Ellerbrock, she survives in Ottawa.
He is also survived by seven children: Mark (Madge) Kuhlman of Continental, Darrell Kuhlman of Pandora, Mark (Laura) Maag of Glandorf, Janice (Dave Maynard) Westrick of Pandora, Christine (Rodney) Remley of Leipsic, Cheryl (Al) Lewis of Lima, and Amy (David) Hand of Glandorf; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and eight siblings: Jim (Ann) Kuhlman of Ottawa, Norm (Jean) Kuhlman of Leipsic, Duane (Irene) Kuhlman of Miller City, Ed Kuhlman of Bowling Green, Mike (Jan) Kuhlman of Ottawa, Randy (Brenda) Kuhlman of Leipsic, Margie Rieman and Marthie Ann (Dick) Schroeder, both of Ottawa.
Frank is preceded in death by a brother, Nick Kuhlman, and a brother-in-law, Jim Rieman.
He worked at EJ Meyer as a union laborer, as well as farming. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland, as well as the Ottawa Eagles, Leipsic Fish and Hunting Association and Holy Aid Society. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and woodworking.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland with Father Scott Perry officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the mass at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
