Ilene M. Claybaugh

   LEIPSIC – Ilene M. Claybaugh, 81, of Leipsic died 8:27 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.  She was born October 4, 1938 in Liberty Center to the late Harold E. and Clara (Precht) Gable.  On November 12, 1955 she married Charles E. Claybaugh, who survives in Leipsic.

   Also surviving are 2 children:  Tonja (William) McDonald of Lima and Eric Claybaugh of Trenton, MI; 3 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

   Ilene is preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother.

   Ilene retired from Phillips ECG, Ottawa and was a member of First Lutheran Church, Leipsic.

   The funeral service for Ilene will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2020 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Tim Hauenstein officiating.  Burial will be at a later date in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic.  Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Due to restrictions regarding COVID-19, masks and social distancing are required upon entering the funeral home.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.lovefuneralhome.com.
