Joanna Lee “Jodi” Peck

  DEFIANCE – Joanna Lee “Jodi” Peck, 54, of Defiance, died 12:57 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2022, at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital.  She was born on March 11, 1968, in Defiance to Arden and Sharon (Bennett) Peck, and they survive in Defiance.

  Other survivors include a brother, Jamison “Jamey” (Melissa) Peck of Defiance; two nieces: Edreanne Paige Peck and Kendal Raylee Peck, both of Defiance; two aunts; three great-aunts; and many cousins.

  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Gene and Wanda Bennett; paternal grandparents: Emerson and Esther Peck; and a cousin, Bradley Dangler.

  Jodi attended both the University of Akron and Defiance College. She worked 28 years for Campbell’s Soup, Napoleon, and more recently CRSI, Defiance. She was an avid Ohio State University Buckeyes fan. She enjoyed sports, traveling and concerts.  Jodi also loved the arts and was very artistic.

  Funeral services will begin 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2022, at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Pastor Eric Daily officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Sherman Cemetery, Oakwood.  Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
