John G. Ridinger

  DUPONT - John G. Ridinger, 79, of Dupont died Friday, November 20, 2020 at his residence.  He was born April 26, 1941 in Columbus Grove to the late Theron and Georgia (Millirans) Ridinger. 

  Survivors include five children: Michael (Rosanne) Ridinger of Columbus Grove, James Ridinger of St. Mary's, Mark Ridinger of Findlay, David (Kristen) Ridinger of Columbus Grove and Melanie (Kyle) Klakamp of McComb; seven grandchildren; and five siblings: Roger Ridinger of Pandora, Norman Ridinger of Columbus Grove, Sherman Ridinger of Pandora, Linda Gray of Ottawa and Mary Lee Niemeyer of Miller City.

  He was also preceded in death by four brothers: Robert, Paul, Charles and Warren.

  John was retired.  He was a US Air Force veteran during Vietnam.  He enjoyed shooting bow, golfing, fishing, playing guitar and throwing horseshoes. 

  A memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 8, 2021 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.  Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Pandora with military rites by the Pandora and Gilboa American Legions.
