Jonathan A. Loman
OTTAWA – Jonathan A. Loman, 61, of Ottawa, passed away at 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Findlay Care Center Bridge Hospice. He was born November 11, 1961 in South Bend, IN to the late James A. and Barbara A. (Rausch) Loman. On December 24, 1980, he married Anita Agner, who survives in Ottawa.
He is also survived by two children: Jamie (Greg) Verhoff of Ottawa and Lindsey Loman of Columbus; six grandchildren: Elena Verhoff, Owen Verhoff, Quinn Verhoff, Lily Loman-Antoine, William Keller and Jonny Keller; four siblings: Kathy (Pete) Sawicki of Orono, MN, Kris (Dan Buckland) Loman of Cross Plains, WI, Bob Loman of Ottawa and Jacque (Mark) Ward of Bay Village; and a brother-in-law, Skip Ruhe of Grand Haven, MI.
He was preceded in death by a son, Benjamin Loman; a brother, Bill Loman; and a sister, Connie Ruhe.
Jon was an ASE and AAA certified master technician and owner/operator of Northside Auto and Truck, Findlay. He enjoyed family vacations, jet skiing, camping, trips with friends and John Deere tractors. Jon was a virtual rail fan and train enthusiast. He was very close with the Agner family as one of the “outlaw’s”. He was a kid at heart and enjoyed many activities and projects with his grandchildren, especially hayrides on his custom built hay wagons and working on the tree fort.
A visitation will be held from 2 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. Burial will be at a later date.
