Juanita Blankemeyer

   OTTAWA - Juanita Blankemeyer, 85, of Ottawa died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at The Meadows of Ottawa. She was born March 29, 1933 in Glandorf to the late Lawrence and Amanda (Moening) Schroeder. She was married to William "Bill" Blankemeyer who died January 23, 1995.

   Juanita is survived by her son, Jason Blankemeyer of Ottawa; two grandchildren, Billy Blankemeyer and Emily Blankemeyer both of Lima; and a sister, June Jeffery of Fairfield. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Tim, Greg, and Orvel Schroeder and two sisters, Erma Huber and Naomi Schroeder.

   Juanita was retired from Philips, formerly of Ottawa. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and Philips Quarter Century Club. She loved camping at the Maumee River and her cat, Pepper.

   Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Deacon Jim Rump officiating. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Glandorf. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
