She was born November 7, 1942, in Lima to the late Bernard and Regina (Wolke) Fenbert. On November 18, 1961, she married her high school sweetheart, Lambert Charles “Charley” Westrick and he survives in Pandora. The Lord blessed them with 60 years together.
Other survivors include three children: Pam (Bob) Sager of Glandorf, Mike (Sandy) Westrick of Ottawa and Kim (Devin) Erickson of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter-in-law, Susie Westrick of Indianapolis, IN; ten grandchildren: Leah, Kyle, Matt, Jon, Jackie, Kristi, Brent, Andy, Stacy, and Ethan; nine great grandchildren: Easton, Aubrey, Evie, Oliver, Bennett, Merryn, Myles, Liam, Landon and two on the way; a brother, Norbert (Rosalie) Fenbert of Wheelersburg; and a sister, Judy (Rick) Miller of Hartland, MI.
She was also preceded in death by two sons: Mark and Jeff; a grandson, Austin; and siblings Richard Fenbert, Mildred Fenbert and Catherine “Kate” (Justin “Judd”) Schroeder. Mark, Jeff, and Austin left this world way too early, to ready Heaven for Juanita.
Juanita had worked for Lugibill’s Greenhouse in Columbus Grove and retired as head cook at Ottawa-Glandorf High School. She loved flowers and the outdoors. Juanita enjoyed creating new flower starts and watching those flowers grow at the greenhouse. After she and Charley retired, they bought a motor home and traveled all over the country, including Alaska. They ended their travels in Fort Myers, FL and lived there for a few years. Both enjoyed the beaches, warm weather, and new friends. But most of all, Juanita loved and cherished her family.
A celebration of life memorial mass will begin at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Scott Kramer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. There will be no viewing.
