  LEIPSIC – Kathleen R. Trask, 63 of Leipsic died 9:58 a.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Mercy Health Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf.  She was born October 16, 1957 in Lima to the late John Trask and Geneva Benroth.

  Kathy had a wild spirit and a generous heart mixed with quick wit and fire that would keep anyone on their toes. She had many jokes suggesting what should be written in her obituary, but we shall keep them to ourselves. She had a soft spot for any living creature. She could never say no to a pup who needed a home. Kathy showed her love for others with her special gift of cooking the most delicious meals, you would never leave her home hungry as she cooked enough to feed an army. She loved spending her time outdoors, always barefoot. She especially loved being by any body of water and loved to swim as well as sit on her front porch watching the cars and trains go by. She was always very proud of her girls and of her grandchildren; she appreciated any opportunity she had to tell about them.

  Kathy is survived by her two daughters: Christina (Josh Burcham) Evilsizer and Amanda (Jason) Goodwin both of Leipsic; six grandchildren: Dustin (Tiffany) Diller, Kayla Diller, Neva (Antonio) VanWaning, Noah Diller, Elyse Goodwin and Meredith Goodwin; six great-grandchildren; two siblings: Phillip (Lynn) Trask of Alaska and Julie (Mike) Dunlap of Rimer; and two adored dogs: Layla and Rusty. 

  Kathy donated her body to science; therefore, there will be no services at this time.
