 CLOVERDALE - Katie M. Martin, 92, of Cloverdale died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at her residence.  She was born August 19, 1928 in Souderton, PA to the late Harrison D. and Lizzie A. (Moyer) Hackman.  On June 1, 1957, she married Ronald D. Martin, who preceded her  in death on June 30, 1995.

  Katie is survived by her three children: Philip (Michelle) Martin of Wheatland, WY, Laurel (James Dixon) Martin of Roanoke, VA, and Carol (Gwoan) Johnson of Cloverdale; one granddaughter:  Nicole (Nathanael Flores) Johnson; two great-grandchildren:  Ashaya and Aria Flores; two sisters:  Pauline Nice of Souderton, PA and Eva Hershey of Mt. Laurel, NJ; a brother-in-law:  David Alstein of South Hampton, NJ and a sister-in-law:  Betty Hackman of Lansdale, PA.

  She was preceded in death by eight brothers:  Harold, Laaden, Samuel, Harrison, Leroy, Norman, Nelson and Paul Hackman and a sister:  Naomi Alstein.

  Katie was a retired teacher's aid for Continental Local Schools.

  There will be a graveside service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Cascade Cemetery, Cloverdale with Pastor Lynn Thompson officiating.  Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2021 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental. In keeping within social distancing guidelines, masks and social distancing will be required upon entering the funeral home.
