Kevin D. Keiser
OTTAWA – Kevin D. Keiser, 67, of Ottawa, died at 9:09 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the Meadows of Ottawa. He was born on August 5, 1953 to the late Dean and Elizabeth Louise (Snook) Keiser. On May 17, 1986 he married Geni Hovest, she survives in Ottawa.
Kevin is also survived by a son, Chace Keiser of Ottawa; one grandchild, Alanna Keiser and one on the way; a sister, Karen (John) Kopp of Bluffton; a brother, Gary (Sharon) Keiser of Waynesfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Kevin was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf. He was the former owner of FNS Recycling Center, Ottawa and retired from the Ottawa Police Department. Kevin was also a member of the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and going to a cabin in the mountains of Pennsylvania with his dad and son.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Father Tony Fortman officiating. The Putnam County Honor Guard presentation will take place after mass. In keeping with the social distancing guidelines, a visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. Masks will be required upon entering the funeral home and church.
