Lucille M. Ellerbrock
GLANDORF – Lucille M. Ellerbrock, 96 of Glandorf passed away at 9:16 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2023, at her residence. She was born July 4, 1927, in Cuba to the late Sylvester and Apollonia (Siebeneck) Verhoff. She married Carl Ellerbrock on May 28, 1949. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2009.
Survivors include eleven children: Donna Showalter of Ottawa, Larry (Jackie) Ellerbrock of Bryan, Linda (Jim) Langhals of Glandorf, Kenneth (Pat) Ellerbrock of Ottawa, Marianne Tobe of Glandorf, Margaret (Tom) Schroeder of Reading, MI, Elaine (Art) Hohenbrink of Kalida, Eileen (Don) Martin of Columbus Grove, Donald (Tammy) Ellerbrock of Ottawa, Karen (Dennis) Niese of Rossford and David Ellerbrock of Glandorf; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons-in-law: Larry Showalter and Elmer Tobe; and three siblings: Henry (Rita) Verhoff, Sr. Margert Verhoff OSF and James Verhoff.
Lucille was a homemaker, lifelong farmer and had worked at the Schnipke Inn and Calvary Manor. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf and its Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia Council 179. Lucille enjoyed baking pies and was an excellent seamstress. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Funeral mass will begin at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 4, 2023, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Matt Keller. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to the mass at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. A parish rosary will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
