Mary Jo (Kamphaus) Radebaugh
CLOVERDALE – Mary Jo (Kamphaus) Radebaugh,69, of Cloverdale died 6:28 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023, surrounded by her family, at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. She was born March 28, 1954 in Lima to the late Linus and Rose Ann (Karl) Kamphaus. On September 21, 1974, she married David B. Radebaugh, who died October 23, 2009.
She is survived by a sister, Marilyn (Mark) Potthoff of Ottawa; a brother-in-law, Daniel R. (Cindy) Radebaugh of Pandora; a niece, Mary Beth Potthoff of Ottawa and 2 nephews: Joseph Potthoff of Ottawa and Brandon Radebaugh of Pandora.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by her stepfather, Urban Boecker and her sister, Madonna Kamphaus.
Mary Jo was the owner of Marjo Ceramics. While there, she enjoyed painting ceramic sculptures for her family, friends and many customers. She was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church, Cloverdale where she was a member of the choir and the Altar Rosary Society.
Her many interests and hobbies included painting ceramics, playing cards and games, reading, knitting and crocheting; but her greatest love was spending time with her family.
Mary Jo’s family would like to thank the staff of the Mennonite Memorial Home and the former Hilty Memorial Home for their loving care of Mary Jo during her time with them, and also the hospitality and compassion that was given to their family.
There will be a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Cloverdale with the Very Reverend George Mahas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Twp and again from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass at church. There will be a Altar Rosary Society rosary service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
