Mindy Sue Rosebrock

  LEIPSIC – Mindy Sue (Butler) Rosebrock, 46, of Leipsic passed away at 4:52 a.m., Friday, April 2, 2021 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo following a home accident.  She was born May 25, 1974, in Findlay to David Lynn Butler and Kay (Kern) Sidaway.  Her mother survives in McComb. Her father and stepfather, H. John Sidaway are deceased. On November 27, 2004, she married Roger Rosebrock who survives in Leipsic.

  Other survivors include a son,  Josh (Jessica Okuley) Turnwald of Firestone, Colorado; two daughters, Faith (Michael Cox) Butler and Isabelle Rosebrock, both of Leipsic; a sister, Cheri (Ron) Seaburn of Findlay;  two brothers, Brett (Mindy) Dietsch of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Tim (Tammy) Roy of Yuba City, California;  and father and mother-in-law, Arnold and Maryann Rosebrock of Leipsic.

  Mindy graduated from Pandora-Gilboa High School where she was a cheerleader for all four years. She then attended Rhodes State College to become a RN. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Leipsic. She was also a member of the Leipsic VFW and Leipsic Eagles.

  Mindy was very much loved by her family and will be greatly missed. She was a great mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Holidays were always very important to her and her basement was full of family and friends celebrating. She was a friend to everyone and everyone knew her. She enjoyed being with people, vacations in the Upper Peninsula, loved having fun, was always willing to help others, and often cooked delicious food for others. She loved her animals, especially Cybil and Jack A. She also enjoyed going to the Indy 500 with Roger for many years.  Mindy worked for Putnam County Homecare and Hospice as a registered nurse for many years and recently was promoted to coordinator. She had a positive impact serving her many patients as well as their families. Even in her death, Mindy continued to help many individuals by donating her organs.

    Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Tim Hauenstein officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic.  Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.  In keeping with social distancing guidelines, masks will be required upon entering the funeral home.     

  Memorial donations may be made to Putnam County Homecare and Hospice or the Putnam County Dog Shelter.
