Paul E. Wilkinson

  FINDLAY – Paul E. Wilkinson, 92, of Findlay, died 8:15 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Birch Haven Nursing Home, Findlay. He was born August 2, 1930 in Akron to the late Walter and Louise (Kelley) Wilkinson.  On June 10, 1951, he married Dorthea Hector. She survives in Findlay.

  Other survivors include three children: Linda (Donette) Alonzo-Helmick of Columbia, Missouri, Larry (Karen) Wilkinson of Findlay and Lee (Susan) Wilkinson of Tiffin; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sarah Simon of Findlay.

  He was also preceded in death by a son, David Paul Wilkinson and a sister, Dorothy (Bob) German.

  Paul previously owned and retired from Shady Lake Campground.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Paul was a member of Gilboa United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 536.

  A funeral service will begin 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Gilboa United Methodist Church with Pastor Ruth Carter-Crist.  Burial will be at a later date at Harman Cemetery, Gilboa with military rites by Gilboa American Legion.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.  

  Arrangements are under the direction of the LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

  Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
