Peggy Sue Torres

  OTTAWA – Peggy Torres, 64, of Ottawa, passed away at 2:50 a.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at the Meadows of Kalida.  She was born January 26, 1959, in Lima to the late Kenneth and Janet (Reed) Mangas.  On September 7, 2004, she married Merced Torres, he survives in Ottawa.

  Peggy is also survived by two sons: Justin Mangas of Ottawa, and Jason Mangas of Leipsic; seventeen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one on the way; three brothers: Roger (Grace) Mangas, Randy (Lori) Mangas, and Terry (Sherry) Mangas, all of Leipsic; and a sister: Pam (Bucket) Trehan of Columbus Grove.

  She is preceded in death by two grandsons, Justin Mangas Jr., and Mason Shuey; and a brother, Rick Mangas.

  Peggy loved rock and roll music and attending concerts.  She enjoyed gardening, and crafting Christmas spiders.

  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
