Robert R. Romero, Sr.

  LEIPSIC – Robert R. Romero, Sr., 65 of Leipsic went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born February 18, 1955 in Lima to the late Reynaldo and Diocelina (Lara) Romero.  On August 20, 1994 he married Maribell Lopez and she survives in Leipsic. 

  Other survivors include six children: Bobby (Crystal) Romero, Jr., Melissa (Nick) Arredondo and Crystal Romero all of Findlay, Isaiah (Sarah) Romero of Fostoria, Sherine (Glen) Tate of Findlay and Joey (Shelley) Romero of McComb; seventeen grandchildren; and three siblings: Juanita Lopez of McComb, Rolando Romero of Hondo, TX and Rommel Romero of Virginia.

  He was also preceded in death by three siblings: Ramona Mares, Juanita De Los Santos and Reynaldo Romero.

  He was a talented musician gifted in many instruments. He had a special sense of humor and loved the OSU Buckeyes.  Most of all he was a faithful man of God who touched many lives; especially his children and grandchildren.

  A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 23, 2020 at LOVE –HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Tony Reddick officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.  Due to regulations regarding the COVID-19, masks and social distancing are required at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic.

  Memorial donations may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
