Dear Eickholt Family, childhood neighbor,long ago baby sitter and distant cousin,
   I know Roman's family don't know me, but perhaps you know the Deitering name.   Mary Doeseck lives here in Upper and I spoke with
her yesterday.  I am so sorry and wish to extend my sincere sympathy to all.
I baby sat for 4 little Eickholt boys many years ago.  What a hoot and fun it was.  As a teen ager your family was my pleasure.

Dear Pat &Boys,            We are so sorry about Romie. I can only imagine how it feels to loose your best friend. That's what Romie was to all of you.  He was such a kind hearted man. God gave me the opportunity to talk to him at the garage sale. We will miss this man but never forget him. I promise to be a better friend and visit you more.
