Ronald Dulle Obituary

Ronald J. Dulle, 80, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away October 20, 2021. He was born March 3, 1941 in Miller City, Ohio.

He was an accomplished photographer with many exhibits throughout the Southwest, focusing on the Santa Fe Trail. To tell the story behind each photo, he compiled the book: Tracing the Santa Fe Trail - Today's Views, Yesterday's Voices. His book is an overview of trail history, accompanied by 180 beautiful color photographs.

He was the chair of the Santa Fe Trail Association's Publication Committee, and an active member of the Bent's Fort Chapter, of Colorado. The Association's purpose is to protect and preserve the trail. Previously, he worked for US WEST, a telecommunications company.

Ron was kind and charitable to those less fortunate. He especially loved the "The Center for the Poor" (Los Probres) that serves the farm population in southern Colorado. He loved hiking in the mountains and always enjoyed visiting his family, in Ohio, for weddings and memorable camping trips. He was the perfect host and tour guide to friends and family visiting Colorado.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Mary Pat (Staudt) Dulle; siblings, Norm (Agnes) Dulle, Mary Jane (John) Niese, Janice (Ken) Morman, Pat (Kevin) Eiden; 13 nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Colleen (Joe) Hellige.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Cecelia (Okuley) Dulle.
