Ronald R. Tressler

   GROVER HILL – Ronald R. Tressler, 60 of Grover Hill passed away 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Van Wert Hospital. 

   He was born August 21, 1963, in Defiance to Richard and Marion Sue (Ferguson) Tressler, who precede him in death. On December 25, 1999, he married Victoria McDaniel, who survives in Grover Hill. 

   Survivors also include a son, Jeremy Tressler of Continental; stepchildren, Kelly Gambler of Defiance, Amanda (Jake) Walker of Pemberville, and Harley (Travis) Kinzer of Bryan; father and mother-in-law, Tim and Helen Gearig of Bryan; grandchildren, Shelby, Trevor, Danica, Anthony, Helena, Dalton, David, Allaina, and Raylee; and siblings, Terry (Cindy) Tressler of Ney, Jerry (Karen) Tressler of Sherwood, Ricky Tressler of Defiance, Helen (John) Johnson of Bryan, Donald (Susan) Tressler of Defiance, Sharon (Tom) Sproles of Ney, and Randy (Brooke) Tressler of Paulding.   He was preceded in death by a son, Shane Tressler; and sister-in-law, Carol Tressler.

   Ronald worked at Campbell’s Power Washing & Painting and previously worked for the Issac, Corp.  He enjoyed helping the Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Grover Hill with their food pantry every month along with driving to Lima for food pickup.  He also helped the church with community dinners up until COVID.

   Funeral Service will begin Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental with Pastor Jimmy Fry officiating.  Burial will follow in Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill.  Visitation will be Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
