Shelby Jean Shisler
OAKWOOD – Shelby Jean Shisler, 65, of Oakwood, passed away at 4:12 a.m., Friday, November 10, 2023 at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus. She was born August 27, 1958, in Defiance to the late Dennis and Nola (Butler) Stoller. On May 24, 2003, she married Craig Shisler, who survives in Oakwood.
Survivors include three children: Kenisha (Paul) Seibert of Paulding, Kaylee (Jason) Warnecke of Columbus Grove and Corey (Ashley) Carnahan of Oakwood; twelve grandchildren; a brother, Dennis Stoller of Defiance; and a sister, Sheila (Denny) Martin of Defiance.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth W. Eagleson III; two grandchildren; a nephew; two brothers: Randal and Darren Stoller; and a sister Rhonda Florence.
Shelby worked for Schnipke Engraving, Ottoville for the past seven years. She had previously worked for Briceton Gas for fifteen years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, tending to her flower beds and ceramic painting. Shelby loved spending time with her family and her beloved dogs, Hershy and Tootsie.
Funeral services will begin 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Reverend Jeff Rhees officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Oakwood. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
