Velma B. Warnimont

  MILLER CITY - Velma B. (Siebeneck) Warnimont, 88, of Miller City, passed away peacefully Friday, August 12, 2022, surrounded by family. Velma was born April 20, 1934, to the late Raymond and Florence (Hohenbrink) Siebeneck. On July 2, 1960, she married Charles Lee Warnimont, who preceded her in death on November 23, 2013.

  Velma is survived by 8 children: Charles (Kris) Warnimont of Glandorf, Becky Moser of Rockford, IL, Daniel (Mary) Warnimont of Miller City, Gary (Jessica) Warnimont of Leipsic, James Warnimont of Miller City, David (Marcia) Warnimont of Miller City, Kevin (Shirley) Warnimont of Glandorf, and Rachel (Steve) Schlutz of Katy, TX. She had 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

  Velma had seven siblings: Norm Siebeneck, Teresa Gerding, Jane (Ron) Pothast, Sharon Meyer, Janet Variell, Bobby Siebeneck (dec’d), and Donny Siebeneck (dec’d). She was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Valeta Siebeneck, and 2 brothers-in-law Bob Gerding and Dick Meyer.

  Velma graduated from Ottoville High School. She was a member of Miller City St. Nicholas Catholic Church, where she was also a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was an auxiliary member of the Ottawa Legion. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and watching Ohio sports teams.

  Funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Miller City with Fr. Scott Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 2-8 p.m. and one hour prior to mass on Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

  Memorial donations may be made to: American Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation or the Spina Bifida Association.
