Wanda Lee Grant

   DUPONT – Wanda Lee Grant, 82, of Dupont died 9:56 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the Meadows of Kalida.  She was born September 20, 1940, to the late James and Vadie (Scott) Centers. 

   She is survived by 5 children:  Lisa (Armando) Barraza of Ottawa, Mickey Grant of Sherwood, Karen (Brian) Kosch of Continental, Troy (Mary) Grant of Oakwood and Rhonda Walz of Bryan; a son-in-law:  Steve Deken of Continental; 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 2 brothers:  Keith (Sue) Centers of Archbold and James Centers of Elida; 3 sisters:  Betty Theobald of Continental, Judy (Richard) Adkins of Oakwood and Vivian Wagner of Fostoria.

   Wanda is preceded in death by a daughter: Jane Deken, a brother: Bob Centers; son-in-law:  Kevin Walz; brother-in-law:  David Wagner; a granddaughter:  Wesley Kosch and a grandson:  Trey Walz.

   Wanda retired from Dana Corporation, Antwerp.  She attended the Dupont Church of the Brethren.

   The family would like to thank the staff of the Meadows of Kalida and Putnam County Hospice for their loving care provided for their mother.  Your care and compassion were truly a blessing to our mom, and our family.

   Wanda’s funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 at the HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Rev. Terry Porter officiating.  Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
