William J. “Bill” Like

   LEIPSIC – William J. “Bill” Like, 79 of Leipsic died at 7:20 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2020 at Bridge Hospice of Findlay. He was born on July 23, 1940 to the late Albert and Mary (Brinkman) Like.

   He is survived by three sisters, June (Larry) Loudon of Columbus Grove, Norma (Kenneth) Wagner of Findlay, and Shirley Trenkamp of Ottawa; two brothers, Charles (Sharon) Like of McComb, and Gerald Like of North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Sigrid Like of McComb; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Daniel Like; two sisters, Donna (Lloyd) Cooper and Imogene Like; and a brother-in-law, Roger Trenkamp.

   Bill retired from Campbell’s Soup, Napoleon after 40 years and loved being a part time farmer. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic and a social member of McComb VFW. He enjoyed all Ohio State University sports and the Cleveland Browns.

    Bill’s family would like to express their gratitude for the wonderful care he received from the Bridge Hospice nurses, especially Jen.

   A Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Stephen Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at St. Mary’s Parish Hall.
