William A. "Bill" Westrick
OTTAWA - William A. "Bill" Westrick, 64 of Ottawa died Friday, April 13, 2018 at his residence. He was born July 27, 1953 in Defiance to the late Alton and Angela (Deters) Westrick. His stepfather, Wilfred Schulte survives in Ottawa. On July 27, 1974 he married Sandy Brown who survives in Ottawa.
Also surviving are two sons, Doug (Melanie) Westrick of Glandorf and Dave Westrick of Edgewood, KY; three grandchildren, Alex, Jaren, and Katherine Westrick; and two sisters, Shirley (Dennis) Warniment and Patricia Chamberlain both of Ottawa. He was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Linda (Larry) Johnston; a brother, Martin Westrick; and a brother-in-law, Russell Dean Chamberlain.
Bill was a truck driver for Niese Transport. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and the Miller City Sportsman's Club. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a Scripture Service at 7:50 p.m.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or to the Ottawa Food Pantry.
