William R. "Bill" Honigford
FINDLAY - William R. "Bill" Honigford, 51, of Findlay, died 11:08 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at his residence. He was born December 18, 1968 in Lima to the late Victor Gilbert and Doris Ann (Smith) Honigford. His mother survives in Ottoville.
Bill is survived by six siblings: Gene (Cindy) Honigford of Delphos, Deb (Roger) Eickholt of Lima, Ron (Julie) Honigford of Glandorf, Diane (Brent) Fackler of Kenton, Darlene Honigford of West Jefferson and Brian (Amy) Honigford of Lima. He was also loved by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by two sisters: Denise and Mary; and a brother: Joseph.
Bill graduated from Ottoville High School in 1987. He had worked at both Menke's Construction in Fort Jennings and Philips Display in Ottawa before working the past 19 years for Cooper Tire in Findlay. He was a member of the Findlay Moose Lodge.
Bill had a love for his family and cherished the time spent at family outings. By far his favorite was the annual 4th of July celebration. An avid pyro, Bill was a duly licensed fireworks assistant. He also thoroughly enjoyed fishing, golf, the Cincinnati Reds, but most of all The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Bill will be greatly missed by his family who loved him dearly.
A private funeral mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville with Very Reverend Jerome Schetter officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville. Visitation will be Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township with a scripture service at 1:45 p.m. Due to the regulations regarding COVID 19, masks are required upon entering the funeral home and/or church.
