Carol Sue Beutler

   Ottawa - Carol Sue Beutler, 73, of Ottawa died 11:20 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016 at her residence.  She was born May 15, 1943 in Burdine, Kentucky to the late Hearl P. and Myrtle V. (Cassel) Baldwin.  On February 12, 1966, she married Donald Beutler who survives in Ottawa.

  Carol is also survived by her two sons:  Tony (Lori) Beutler of Gilroy, CA. and Glen (Robin Geise) Beutler of Ottawa;  three grandchildren: Steven (Amanda) Beutler, Jessica (Scott) Wischmeyer and David (Brittany Schindler) Beutler; three great-grandchildren:  Hayden Beutler, Haley Beutler and Henry Beutler; and four brothers: Alfo (Karen) Baldwin of Montague, CA, Glenn (Lois) Baldwin of Pound,  VA., Shade Baldwin of Burdine, KY., Avis  (Sherry) Baldwin of Virgie, KY.   She is also preceded in death by eight siblings: Lelar Baldwin, Linda Baldwin Coy Baldwin, Bill Baldwin, Rolie Baldwin, Nancy Baldwin, Ina Mae Baldwin and Carson Baldwin.

   Carol was a homemaker.  She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia #7 and Fraternalist of the year;; Ottawa's VFW Post #9142, where she was District President of the Woman's VFW; American Legion Post #63 and woman of the year and District One Queen ; Cooties #6 where she was District President,  Eagles #2234; member of the Sunshine Club, Red Hat Society and Blue Star Mothers Associate.  She graduated from Jenkins High School in 1962.

   A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   Visitation will be Tuesday, 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME,  Ottawa  where there will be a CLC Rosary at 7 p.m. and a VFW Auxiliary service will follow at 7:30 p.m.

   Memorials may be given to Putnam County Hospice and Home Health or the charity of donor's choice.
