Am so sorry for your loss! But is his gain! As you well know! He was a God fearing man of whom I was so glad to have known. Marjorie thank you for being not only the ministers wife, but also my friend!
You folks have always been very special to me! When we moved we didn't keep in touch but thought of you folks often!
Vern was a teaching pastor and was much appreciated for that!

So kind of you to be thinking of our family. And thank you for your prayers. How thankful we are that God does keep his promises. That we have God's promise of Salvation and Forgiveness , along with His promise of Heaven, where there is no sorrow or sadness. Where we can spend eternity together with our brothers and sisters in Christ, praising God for his glory and faithfulness.

Vern was a very good man. He loved life and his family. May he rest in eternal peace with our Lord. By the way Vern say hello to your son Pat and my husband Bill Potts. Both missed so very much.

It's hard to believe that those we love the most are gone. Pat, Bill and now Dad. What a comfort it is to know in times like these, in Heaven there is no pain or sorrow, no tears and no fears. What a reunion there was in Heaven on November 22. What a sight it must have been to behold. I would like to thank you from the entire Shepard family for thinking of us during this time of loss.

I wish I could go to the funeral home, and see all of you, but living here in Peru, South American makes traveling limited as to what I can do and where I can go at the moment. May god be with you during this time of sorrow.

I am so sorry that I could not be there when grandpa passed. I loved him so very much and wish i could have spent more time with him. I pray that all of our family continues to be carried by the lord and remember the warmth that grandpa spread. Grandpa, go forth and continue to touch the world. I will see you in heaven. Tell my dad I love and miss him and ensure he takes care of himself and my mom. I love you.

Dad wanted nothing more than to meet all of his grandchildren and let them know that he loved them very much and tell them that God loved them even more than he. Thank you for your prayers and thank you even more for coming and visiting Dad. It meant more to him than you will ever know.
