Ruth, Megan, and family,
I've only known Don and Ruth since 1999 with managing his heart care at MCO, but he touched my heart and have remained friends through the years. He was one of my favorite patients. He always had a beautiful smile, a tinkle in his eye and cute pink cheeks that I would pinch every chance I got. I know it has not always been roses, but I'm glad he had more time with family, saw Megan get married and have grandchild. He is truly a special kind and loving man that will be missed. I will miss his brief comments on my Facebook and seeing his posts to Megan. Ruth the days will be long and the journey of grief is difficult, but one day the sun will shine again. It does get less difficult. Keep his memories in your heart and he will always be with you. Pray and ask God for peace, mercy and grace and He will provide that to you. He cares for those who have lost loved ones. If it wasn't for God - I'm not sure where I would be after I lost Tom. Blessings and Love.
