WOW -- Dairy Farmers -- Donna and Norm working side-by-side....such hard working people!! Dairy Farming is some of the hardest work -- twice a day...at the same time, or the cows get messed up. And, seeing how Donna cared for her husband after his stroke, and their children helping, year-after-year. God Bless your souls. The Lord is saying to these two GREAT individuals -- Donna and Norman -- "Well Done, Good and Faithful Servants"!!! In Donna's last years, I would see her children bring her to church often -- awesome job! ...you are all such "good stock...good people"!! :) Love, Cathy and John :) P.S. Thanks to all of the Schnipkes / Reckers that helped raise our children

To The Recker Family,
We were so surprised and saddened to hear of the passing of Donna. What a beautiful and cheerful soul and good friend and neighbor to our Dad and Mom, Charlie and Rose Siefker. They had some great times over the years with all the outings with their neighborhood couples....they worked hard on their farms and then played hard. Your Mom was the bright spot in everyone's day and was always dressed so very nice. The night Mom moved into The Meadows of Ottawa, Donna was one of the first in Mom's room welcoming her and checking on how she was doing. Donna made her rounds at the nursing home with her glider and would pay visits to many residents, including Mom the short time Mom was there before passing. Donna would come in the room and say Hello to Mom and tell us all there visiting that Mom was going to be okay and would get better. Your Mom was forever cheering people on which certainly was a gift she had. Mom always enjoyed Donna and really appreciated all the kindness Donna showed to their neighbors. With their short illnesses, Donna and Mom were quick to leave our world and now are joined together again as heavenly Angels remaining forever in the hearts of their families they left behind. God is smiling down with his sweet girls with him now and Norm and Charlie are elated to have the love of their lives home with them. We are praying for The Recker Family and can certainly understand how you are all feeling at this most difficult time. It's so hard to let them go, but now we must find the "new" normal. God bless you all and keep you in His care.

Rest in Peace Dear Donna. Never was there a time you were not laughing , smiling and enjoying life , even when things were less than perfect. So glad we were able to have a little conversation a few weeks ago... Thank you for the kindness, genuine concern and caring when asking about the kids , jobs, and all we shared for a lot of years !! Your light will shine on brightly through so many good memories of all you have left us with.
