Howard was a neighbor when I was growing up. Played baseball in the side yard, and yes broke a few windows. His sister Carolyn was the same age as yours truly. Great times I had with the whole family. Ron

Howard...What a great guy! He was a good-hearted, kind and knowledgeable man. He could talk on any topic in a reasonable way, never taking sides, just telling the truth. Oh, how he loved his sports! Can't tell you how many stories I heard about the 1950 Miller City Basketball Championship, the baseball teams and other sports that he was involved. The TV and radio was programmed to a sports channels. And oh how he loved Julia, she was his treasure. Together they grew the largest zinnias ever, 5-6 ft. tall this summer. So proud! His presence will be missed on earth, however, his spirit is at peace.

My sympathy to your family. I will always remember Howard as the TV Repairman. As a young child, it was a good day when Howard appeared. I can see his repair case and how he had it organized. How he knew which ones went where was fascinating. Again I am so sorry about your loss.
