My heartfelt thoughts to all of you! So many memories I have, especially trick or treating with Opal. She gave more than her best to everyone, she shared and cared for people. She was accepting and nonjudgmental especially of our crazy ideas and activities! May we all continue her spirit of compassion. Oh, and I LOVE the picture!!

A wonderful lovely lady has taken her bright candle and is gone
Into another room, I cannot find.
But anyone can tell where she has been,
By all the little lights she leaves behind. (And she left many.)
Dearly loved by all and will be missed by everyone who ever met her, she never knew a stranger, always had a smile and offered a helping hand. Becky Brickner said it all (above).
Rest in peace, dearest Opal.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We've lost a dear, sweet lady with a heart of gold. She was always there for all who came into R & O to listen to their stories, share a hug or serve one of the daily specials or an ice cream delight. She made it feel like home for a lot of people. and a wonderful place to gather.
May the angels lead you into paradise Opal
