What can I say but that your dad was a most exceptional man. He was a true warrior for Christ. His faith always held him up during all his trials. They say one difference between a non-believer and a true Christian is their smile. Your dad always had that smile that said it all. Our faith tells us that Steve is now finally at home. We were not created to live here for eternity, only for a little while. The tug of heaven is always pulling us toward God's son Jesus. If you want to honor your dad, follow his footsteps that lead to a heavenly reward. Even though we know and believe this, it is ok to miss him Just as I am crying as I write this little note. I'm sad for all of us but happy beyond words for Steve. He's made it!
